The Town of Caledon has more than 300 acres of park land. This includes District/Special Purpose Parks, Community Parks, Neighbourhood Parks and Trails.
In addition to Town land, there are conservation areas, owned and operated by local conservation authorities, and volunteer-run trails.

Caledon’s parks are pesticide-free using healthy turf strategies.  The Town also uses bio-diesel blended fuels in turf maintenance equipment to reduce emissions.

Please note: use of charcoal barbeques or open fires is prohibited in any Caledon park.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited except in designated areas.
See the Parks Bylaw for full information on permitted and prohibited activities.

District/Special Purpose Parks have specialized facilities that may be rented for organized use.  Resident sports organizations have seasonal agreements for sports sites, which limit availability.
Caledon has excellent sites for tournaments, company & family picnics, fundraisers and community events.  Contact us for help in selecting an event site.

Community Parks are larger parks in with parking, amenities, and informal recreation opportunities.  Some facilities may be rented for special events.

Neighbourhood Parks & Parkettes are small parks, most with playgrounds, within neighbourhoods, for use by local residents.

See the park chart for more information on District & Community Parks.
